Irish Man Pre-Records Message To Play At His Funeral, Leaves Mourners In Tears Of Laughter
For most people, funerals are no joking matter, a time of gloom and serious reflection, a time of grief. But there are those who believe that funerals should be a time of celebration, of laughter through tears, the perfect time to remember and commemorate the lives of the ones we’ve lost. And at times, those who have such beliefs are, in fact, the people who have passed.
One video has recently gone viral and it features footage from a funeral of an Irish man. As family and friends gather around the casket, lowered into the open grave, suddenly a voice comes out of nowhere and proclaims, “Hello?” followed by a loud banging, seemingly coming out of the casket.
Bored Panda reached out to the man’s family for additional comment on the video. Shay’s wife, Anne Bradley, responded by saying that the actual recording was done in one take, over a year before the funeral. “My son told me about the recording the day before his funeral,” Anne revealed, explaining that the closest family was aware of the recording.

As the music of bagpipes fades into the distance, the voice continues: “Let me out, it’s dark in here”. At first, people seem to be confused as to what is happening, but soon, laughter starts to take over.
The man decided to play one final prank on his family with a funny recording
“Let me out. Is that the priest I can hear?” A voice emerged from the ground
The video was originally shared by Andrea Bradley who is the daughter of the late man, Shay Bradley. She uploaded the video to Facebook with the following message: “My dad’s dying wish, always the prankster, ya got them good Poppabear 😉 and gave us all a laugh just when we needed it!! I will love you forever 😘😘#shayslastlaugh”.

“Shay was a prankster, always thought outside the box and wanted to leave his family laughing,” the man’s wife explained. “He was a larger than life character and sadly missed by anyone who knew him,” she concluded.

Share on FacebookWhat a nice way to say goodbye, giving everyone lots of laughts and tears.
When we went to the cremation of my father in law last year, our car caught fire, with my mother in law in it...we arrived a little bit late to the ceremony, and my mother in law told the people " We already started the fire..."
God bless him. I hope it gave comfort to his family and friends. I want the Tardis noise )from Dr Who), and a blue flashing light as I go into the incinerator. I have already purchased a blanket that looks like the Tardis to place over my coffin:) I also have a noise maker that makes the Tardis sound as well as “ EXTREMINATE!!”
